Aims and Scope

Four of the major areas of our concern are widely changing their nature. Philosophy, natural science, cognitive science and mathematics (i.e. the set of tools we have been able to develop for modelling fragments of reality) are definitely leaving the conceptual framework inaugurated by Galilei and Descartes and essentially adopted as possibly the main reference framework for scientific and philosophical investigations up to the end of Nineteenth century.
